“The words of the elders become sweet someday” – Malawian Proverb. The words and advice of the elderly should be respected and appreciated, as they may provide valuable insight and guidance that become more appreciated with time. The elderly are full of wisdom and experience that come with age. 

A single raindrop does not make a pool. A single house does not make a community. And a single tree does not make a forest. Take “a single tree” to mean one person and “a forest” to mean many people. Thus, the proverb means one person alone cannot accomplish as much as many people. It

“Between two friends even water drunk together is sweet enough.”
